Bronte

Project Scope: Complex Major Additions and Alterations
Location: Bronte
Budget: $1.3 million approx.
Architect: Richard Cole Architecture

The project brief required major renovation of the residence, including demolition of the majority of the existing brick building, excavation for a new level below the existing house, and addition of an upper level.

The project required complex structural engineering due to the house’s location on a sand hill, combined with difficult site access. The design brief was to deliver a ‘beach house’, whilst maintaining the classical, character finishes.

“Siltala Constructions proved to be professional, organised and conscientious builders throughout the project. They have an excellent team of skilled and professional sub-contractors and maintain a happy and well organised site.”
